Kristin has been active and passionate about fitness her entire life, playing multiple sports as a child and teen, and continuing to seek out new ways to challenge herself as an adult. An avid runner, Kristin has run multiple races, including half and full marathons. Her career in fitness started in 2010 at a Hartland-based personal training studio, and she quickly became certified as a bootcamp instructor through Lake Country Adventure Bootcamp. Although that business is no longer in the area, Kristin went on to start and run her own fitness bootcamps, mixing strength and cardio into fun and highly effective workouts indoors and out. Her favorite places to teach are in parks and near the various lakes of Lake Country, because nothing beats the combination of endorphins and connection to nature! Kristin got her Yoga Teacher Training Certification through Alignment Yoga in 2014 and added yoga to her class repertoire. She believes that the best results come from the mind/body connection. Learning is one of Kristin’s top priorities, and she is currently in the process of becoming certified as a GGS-1 Certified Women’s Coaching Specialist through Girls Gone Strong Academy and a PN-L1 Nutrition Coaching Specialist through Precision Nutrition Certification. Of all her accomplishments, the one she is most proud of is being a Mom. Kristin and her husband live in Hartland and have three children, and she shares her love for health and fitness with them daily. Most recently, Kristin helped her 9-year old daughter run her first 5k race in the Girls On The Run program and has volunteered to coach their spring session. On weekends, you can find Kristin cheering at her kids’ soccer or basketball games, taking her family on a fun adventure, or enjoying the (rare) quiet moment snuggled up with her dog and a great book!
